The 2023 Dodge Hornet has four trims and two powertrain variants. Each includes all-wheel drive standard.
The GT and GT Plus trims utilize a 2.0-liter, Hurricane4™ turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with 265 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The R/T and R/T Plus trims differ by incorporating a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine and 15.5-kWh battery, generating 285 net horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. These trims complete the powertrain with a six-speed automatic transmission, which lets them accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in about 7.1 seconds. A unique Power Shot function boosts performance for 15 seconds, improving acceleration time by one second.
The 2023 Dodge Hornet seats up to five passengers. The GT and GT Plus models have up to about 27 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats upright and nearly 55 cubic feet with the second row folded down. The RT and RT Plus trims contain slightly less, with 22.9 and 50.9 cubic feet, because the motor and battery occupy a fraction of the cabin space.
The GT and R/T trims host Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility and connectivity to Amazon Alexa™. Both include pushbutton and remote engine start and provide Internet access via a Wi-Fi® hot spot.
The GT and R/T Plus trims upgrade the interior with leather seats. The driver and passengers can benefit from the wireless charging pad and the two USB ports. The Harman Kardon® 14-speaker audio system also improves your music listening experience.
